We purchased a kitchen from "Der Küchenmacher" in Kaarst. Our consultant, Mr. Angelo Vocale, deserves special mention. He was a very friendly and competent partner in planning our new kitchen. He addressed our specific requests with great expertise and offered excellent suggestions. After a pleasant four-hour experience, we left "Der Küchenmacher" thoroughly satisfied, with a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy at home with friends. Mr. Vocale comes highly recommended as both a consultant and a person. In our opinion, he truly sees his work as a calling. Once again, a big thank you and our sincere praise.

Angelo from Küchenmacher managed to make the most of our small, narrow kitchen. The consultation and design were perfect, and the installation was quick, friendly, and flawless! We are absolutely thrilled and highly recommend Küchenmacher in Kaarst!

Our kitchen has been properly installed since December 8, 2025, which is the only reason we're giving it 3 stars. But let's start from the beginning: purchased on August 2, 2025, ordered for week 43 (October 20-24, 2025), delivered and installed on November 4 and 5, 2025, and defects rectified on November 25 and December 8, 2025. We bought the kitchen from consultant Mr. Schulke. The good impression we had was dampened after the surveyor arrived. Mr. Schulke was on vacation, and his replacement, Mr. Vocale, informed us that the 2.5 cm countertop height we wanted wasn't possible because we wanted a drawer under the stove. Only a 4 cm countertop would be possible. This would have been apparent in the planning software, but we were sold it anyway... Furthermore, the dishwasher we selected wouldn't fit with the planned plinth height. ... Mr. Vocale then planned the necessary changes so that we could agree. During assembly, it turned out that the waste bin we had selected wasn't included; instead, there was only a so-called rolling cart, which was just a rail. Presumably, an incorrect order number was entered during the planning phase. These things can happen, but the word "apology" seems to be foreign to kitchen fitters. Mr. Schulke didn't say a word about these errors, nor did the service department. After the installation, we had several complaints. The service department wrote in their confirmation of the complaints: "Unfortunately, the work could not be completed." During assembly, the installers discovered that the glass and frame of the induction cooktop were not properly glued. The cooktop was replaced by Siemens on November 25, 2025. The installers from a subcontractor, who returned on December 8, 2025, to rectify the defects, apologized for their mistakes and corrected them along with the other issues (e.g., defective hinges). The kitchen supplier demanded 90% (!) of the purchase price in two installments before delivery. Since we were concerned about the potential insolvency of a five-figure sum, this was unacceptable, and they offered us a bank guarantee. However, this guarantee expired on October 31, 2025. When we requested an extension due to the later delivery date, we were told that it could only be applied for after October 31, 2025, and therefore, by November 4, 2025, it was no longer possible. We were ultimately relieved that the kitchen was delivered on November 4, 2025. We received the request for the second payment on the evening of October 20, 2025, with a due date of October 21, 2025. The notice stated: "Delayed payment may result in a delivery delay."... When the delivery date was confirmed, we were informed that a 12-meter parking space would be required. We were recommended the company Schilderblitz from Düsseldorf. They reliably set up the no-parking zone (€125). We could have saved ourselves the money. The truck was much smaller. We could have kept the parking space clear with our own cars... Our conclusion: we wouldn't buy from Küchenmacher again.
