We visited there to ask whether they can provide the service to build the kitchen with our old kitchen shelves. Although they cannot provide this kind of service, but the consultant is really friendly and also provide us the possible ways to build our own kitchen.

We bought a new kitchen from Alma Küchen Duisburg. From the initial consultation to the installation and the finished kitchen, we highly recommend them. The installation date was kept precisely, with advance notice by phone. The removal of the old kitchen was perfectly timed to coincide with the installation of the new one. The kitchen installers were friendly and worked very cleanly. Even the remaining finishing touches were completed to our complete satisfaction. The kitchen turned out even better than we expected.

On May 18, 2020, I ordered a kitchen from Alma Küchen in Duisburg for a total cost of approximately €27,000. The planning and sales support initially went well, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, I didn't pay much attention to the kitchen's quality. I was simply too naive and assumed it would be reasonably decent. I was also aware that I wasn't dealing with a premium manufacturer, although I could have found something within that budget through negotiation. The installation was finally scheduled for August, and what I experienced there was simply unbelievable. The installers literally "slapped the kitchen in there without any care," ignoring completely misaligned gaps and non-functional drawers. The wall cabinets are equipped with an electric opening mechanism. When opened, the doors slam upwards so quickly that you're afraid the entire cabinet will fall. After the installers spent an hour trying to adjust it, they stopped with the comment, "That's not my job." Apparently, someone was supposed to come back sometime for fine-tuning! Cables were carelessly laid on top; we'd have to figure something out for that. The sink was incorrectly connected (the thread in the siphon is twisted and leaking), resulting in water damage. The cooktop is warped and also carelessly mounted on the countertop. They've never heard of flush mounting, and the same goes for the aforementioned sink; it won't be long before water leaks into it. After I complained, the salesperson and the operations manager came and were allowed to inspect this disaster. As expected, everything was downplayed, and they insisted on rectification. I thankfully declined this; instead, I'm writing off the money and having a proper kitchen custom-made by a carpenter. Even if a carpenter had reworked the kitchen, it would still be utter junk, and I wanted to avoid that in the future. As I said, I have to take the blame for the poor quality myself, but I had no idea that such poor material quality would be delivered for this price. The entire kitchen is documented with photos and videos and will be reviewed and published by several furniture bloggers, independent of my own quality standards. Therefore, my statements here can be supported by visual evidence. In conclusion: Anyone who has certain quality expectations for their kitchen should definitely look elsewhere. I've visited numerous kitchen showrooms in recent days and examined the quality across different price ranges, and I haven't encountered such inferior quality in a single one, even significantly cheaper kitchens. It's being produced to the lowest possible standard; a closer look at the showrooms would reveal this. As for the installation and the service after my complaint, there's not much to say. A complete disaster!

In April, we decided to spruce up our kitchen, which we bought from Alma, and ordered new doors. The consultation was excellent, and the delivery date was met. Unfortunately, 10 handles and one door were missing upon delivery. Neither the installers nor the salesperson felt responsible for giving me any firm answers. The salesperson said the factory was closed for holidays and that he might be able to have the handles sent for self-assembly. That was three weeks ago, and neither the handles have arrived, nor has the salesperson contacted us. We're now struggling to open 10 cabinets. It would have been better for us to arrange a later delivery date when all the parts were available. My conclusion: everyone is good at making a sale, and they're always quick to do it.
