„Exactly 11 years ago, a complete kitchen, including a stove, dishwasher, and microwave, was purchased from this supplier. Until three weeks ago, there were absolutely no problems with the kitchen. The only issue was that the countertop was too shallow, causing pots on the stove to touch the wall. At the beginning of June, there was a sudden smell of burning behind the kitchen. It turned out that the dishwasher was broken. So, after 11 years, a new one was purchased immediately. The supplier removed the defective machine and couldn't believe his eyes. The kitchen shop staff had connected the dishwasher to the electrical system using a terminal block. Due to the likely planning error of the insufficient countertop depth, all the base cabinets, and of course the dishwasher, had to be pushed to within about 2 cm of the house wall. This meant that a standard plug couldn't be inserted into the original wall socket. The terminal block (see photo!) had completely melted, and a fire was probably very close to starting. I contacted the company's owner, knowing full well that a warranty claim or goodwill gesture was unlikely. But he simply explained to me, in a rather arrogant manner, that I shouldn't expect anything after 11 years. He also said his employees weren't allowed to connect it like that and that someone else must have done it. Well, the kitchen was purchased with installation included! CONCLUSION: When your new kitchen is being installed, pay close attention to what is connected where! June 25, 2024 It's a shame, Mr. Pape, that you don't take me seriously. What's the point of offering me a new kitchen and a consultation? Your employees botched the job, and all you can come up with is this comment? I've uploaded the kitchen plan and the purchase agreement! I stand by my advice: Pay attention during installation!"

„We visited three different kitchen showrooms before going to this kitchen store. We felt well taken care of right from the start. During the consultation, Mr. Böhme didn't try to quickly sell us something expensive or impose his own ideas on us. Instead, he listened to our wishes and tried to accommodate them whenever possible. He discussed the advantages and disadvantages of certain appliances that we had noted from previous consultations and also offered us alternatives. Furthermore, unlike previous consultations with competitors, where you're just shown a picture on a screen and told a price, this wasn't the case. Instead, we received a sketch/plan and a written quote with the total price via email to check whether the quoted price truly included everything discussed with the consultant. Any necessary revisions were also promptly incorporated. The measurements and subsequent communication went smoothly as well. The installation itself was equally seamless. The installers, Gustavs and Siebert, delivered excellent workmanship and always had a sensible solution ready for unforeseen circumstances. The extractor hood, which arrived damaged from the manufacturer, was quickly and easily replaced by the kitchen store. All in all, I would buy my kitchen from this kitchen store again and will recommend them to others."

„I'm still in the selection phase. But the "Küchenladen" (kitchen shop) is the only kitchen builder I've found that prepares a proper quote before signing the contract and delivers it to the customer. Every supplier spends 1-2 hours planning with you, which is time-consuming and, in my case, always competent. At the end, they quote a price and wait for your signature. Printout of the kitchen or the quote to review at home? Think again! Just for the signature! You wouldn't believe what I experienced during the quote preparation: Important components (like the cooktop) were simply replaced without my knowledge to stay within my price range. The industry is a real shark tank; even the big furniture stores aren't any better. In the end, the Küchenladen wasn't quite as affordable for my project as a large chain with their "20+19%" promotion, but they were honest and gave me a good deal. Reason enough to keep the large sums of money for a new kitchen here in the region and work with a fair partner. My kitchen won't be delivered and installed until the end of 2019, and then there will be an update to the review with hopefully equally good marks."
